My family is alike because we all get some of the same things from our parents and we all look alike. My family doesn't really get along because when someone is angry they always take it out on someone else. (Mostly me) Our family is special because even though we have our little fights we are always a team, and even though our sister is in college, the whole family is still a team.

My family and I are similar and different in many ways. My dad is similar to me because he and I have the same looks and interests like football, baseball, and basketball. My mom is similar to me because many people have said that she and I sound alike. My brother, Rahul and I are similar because we both like to play video games and watch t.v. shows in our spare time. However, my family is different than I am because of our taste preferences when it comes to food. I pefer spicy food without the heat while my dad, mom, and Rahul prefer a combination of hot and spicy flavors.
ReplyDeleteMy family doesn't always get along but when someone is upset, each one of us tries our best to make that person feel better by listening to their problem and offering suggestions to help. In return, the person receiving the advice tries to understand the suggestions and appreciate the help given. Most of the time this routine helps us stay happy.
My family is unique because none of us were born in the same place. My mom was born in Malaysia. My dad was born in Japan. Rahul was born here in Kirkland, Washington and I was born in California. Also, my dad grew up in Bangkok, Thailand while my mom grew up in Kuala Lumpur and India. I think it is cool to live with a family that has some foreign connections. Without these connections, I would not have traveled to countries like Malaysia, India, and Thailand and experienced their cultures. I think it is amazing my parents came from different places around the globe and now, all of us are so close together right here in Sammamish! My family is the best of the best.

My family is similar to Morning Girls family because my brother, sister and I annoy eachother a lot, like Morning Girl and Star Boy. My family is different because our names are based on family members, not our personalities. My family has different resources than their family and we live different life styles. My family doesn't get a long all the time but we do most of the time. Sometimes my sister, brother and I get in fights and arguments but normally we are happy and goof off with eachother. My family is very humorouse. One thing that makes my family very unique and special is that we all live very closely together. My mom's mom lives in Trossachs, My dad's parents live about 30 minuets away and my cousins live about 20 minuets away. Since we live so close to eachother, we have many family get togethers. we eat a lot of Italian food because thats our main nationality. Sometimes I don't notice this, but we are very loud. Most of the vacations we go on we go in a big group. We go to Maui and Lake Chelan together. One thing I love to do is watch our family videos. My mom videotaped every moment when we were little. Every time I watch the videos I laugh like crazy. I love spending time with my family and I am glad that my family gets along well. My family is the best!!!!!

I think that I am pretty similar to my family because we share some of the same interests. My family enjoys spending time together. We like to go on vacation, do out door activities like hiking and biking, watch movies and overall, do fun things together.
ReplyDeleteIn general, we are happy and get along with each other. Even though we all share some of the same interests, sometimes, we don’t agree on the same things. It is probably because one of us is in a bad mood or somebody gets on somebody’s nerves verbally or physically (Thank goodness that we both are professionally trained Tae Kwon Do martial artists). I’m talking about my sister and me fighting about what to watch, what to eat, and what to do.
My family is unique and special because we are all from different places, and we have a different culture than other people. My parents were both from Taiwan and my sister and I were born in the U.S. We are also multi cultural. We are Chinese Americans, part Chinese and part American. It is special because I get to enjoy the Chinese and American culture. I get to be able to speak Chinese and say things that some people won’t understand. I also celebrate different holidays such as the Moon Festival and Chinese New Year. And I also get to enjoy the American cultures. Best of all, I get to eat Chinese food that is not in restraints and I know where to go to get good food and I know what to order. I also get to enjoy the American culture. I get to be free, believe in what I want to believe in and I get to enjoy the delicious food like hamburgers, fries, shakes, steak, and doughnuts. I really enjoy being a Chinese American.

I think my siblings and I are alike. First of all me and my brother look alike. People think he is my mini twin. Second of all me, My brother and my sister are alike because we all are athletic and like sports. Third we all like to hang out with are friends and have play dates. Most of the time my family gets along but since everyone is different sometimes we argue about things. What makes my family unique is that most of the time we get along and we all are very social. That’s what I think about my family.

My family gets along really well... except for the fact that my brother and I don't get along real well. Sometimes we like to play with each other a little bit. But most of the time, we (my brother and I) don't get along. My mom and I like to cook, I love my dad, and my brother likes Pop Rock, I really don't like Pop Rock like he does. My brother and I are almost the opposite.
ReplyDeleteI get along with everyone but my brother. Then I sometimes get bored and then I just hit my brother a little bit, not like hit, hit. Then I get punished, although it was my fault I still kind of blame him for not setting a good example for me since he's older. Whenever my brother listens to his Zune, he always dances to the music and waves his hands around like he's a nerd. Then that sets me off. I always say that he's annoying and he needs to stop. My brother doesn't get along with anyone in my family.
From my view, my family’s unique and special because everyone except my dad was born in the same State. My dad was born in Taiwan and the rest of us were born in California. I don't remember if my mom or I made this up, but we added on to a hug and jump. We would do this on special occasions and when I was in Kindergarten or so... We would call it the "Special Jump" I would run to my dad and jump so he would catch me in his arms. I still do this and I think I might break his back if I still do this when I get older. Every family is uniqe and special in their own way. My family does a lot of special stuff that a lot of families don't, and that's how my family's special.

Me and my family are very special and unique. I am similar to them because we enjoy the same things, like soccer. I am different because I am the oldest child and I have different feelings and ways of doing things. If I had to pick one person, either my brother or my sister, that I was most alike it would be my brother, Scott. We look very alike, although he is in kindergarten, Scott is very tall. We have fights and have our differences, but it always works out in the end. My sister and I are very close in age. That means we fit into the same clothes and shoes, which creates fights a lot, but they always get worked out. My whole family is very special and unique because for most of the time we get along well and enjoy hanging out together. So that is my family.

I am similar to my family because we share likes about some of the same things, such as football teams. I sometimes get along with my family, but other times I do not. Sometimes I agree on things with my brothers, like what to play and when, Other times one person thinks one thing and everyone else thinks another. We some times argue because I am 10 years old, Luke is 8, and Cole is 6. Since we are different ages we don't always find interests in the same things. My family is very special because we all care for one another and we look out for each other. When some one is sad we comfort them. If some one needs help on some thing we are there to help each other.

My family and I get along really nice. All of us like the same food, T.V. programs and sports. We also do many things together and talk a lot; about our day, school, my dad's work or the plans that we have. Sometimes we have tough moments when my dad or my mom get mad at me or when they have a fight. There have been hard moments too when one of us had been sick.

Recently my family became more special because my sister was born, her name is Valentina and she has made our life much happier. All of us laugh a lot because of her and we are trying to change the things that doesn't work out, like helping more at home, being positive and work harder for the things that we want.
I'm very lucky to have my family, I can't even imagine living with another one. Also is good to have my relatives in Mexico even when they live far they always support me.

My family and I are different and similar in many ways. We are similar because we all look alike. We all like the same sports, most foods, and T.V. show or programs. We are different because we all like we all like different stores, clothes, shoes, and restaurants. Are family gets along great. But some times we get in little fights. My family gets over the fights pretty quickly, so thats good. But beside the fights we get along great with one another. My family is special because we look out for one another. When someone is sad we cheer them up by playing a game with them, or just hang out with them. And when someone needs help on something we help them finish it. That is why my family is unique and special.

I think I am very similar to my family, we all like to get out have fun and do things together. We also get along very well. There might be a little argument but thats as bad as it gets. And we all LOVE eachother!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I will be buging my brother with out knowing it but we will get over it. He will get mad at sometimes too but he is stil the best brother ever. I love m family and I am very lucky to have them and espaically my dog who is loving and doesn't even bark that much!
We work our hardest to keep the house clean, get things done, and we don't have to work for this but we all love eachother. ometims it is hard because I have close family membrs that live far away and I miss them. ut even though they are far away thy will always support me and love me forever!

I am very similar to my family because we all have the same hair color and eye color. We like to watch family movies, eat spaghetti every Friday night,go on vacations together and see waterfalls. We also like to celebrate holidays and go to parties together.
ReplyDeleteMy family and I don't always get along. If I do something bad they yell at me. Also when I have to do homework they make me do it quick when I want some time to chill. Also when they want me to eat gross foods like mashed potatoes, chicken burgers,broccoli or eggplant I don't like it.
Our family is unique and special because my dad has a company that helps people. Every two years we have a garage sale and give things we don't need to charity. My family has a lot of friends and we like to have parties at our house.
My family is great because we have a lot of friends and a great big family. I am happy to have a good family.

My family is unique and special in many ways, but I think we are like many other families in a lot of ways.
ReplyDeleteMy family has a lot of the same interests. My mom and I are alike because we both wake up in the morning in good moods. We like to play outdoors and some of the things we like to do are hiking with our dogs, playing sports with healthy competition, and we also love to golf. Some indoor activities that we do are we play board games and watch movies.
My family is definitely normal because we fight sometimes,but we always fight fair. My sister and I fight a lot, but my mom makes us do teamwork tasks and by the time we're done, we forget what we were fighting about and have something to be proud of.
My family is unique because my dad lives in Iowa and my mom has to be the mom and the dad most of the time. She has taught us to take time outs when we are frustrated, and so sometimes when she gets frustrated with my sister and me, and she drives around the block to take a time out. I'm glad she does this, because when she comes back, she's in a good mood and has forgotten about what we were doing to frustrate her.
I think my family is very special, because no matter what happens, we always have fun and love each other no matter what!
I think my family is different in many ways because we each have a different way of doing things. When we have extra time we can't always agree on a game.

My family are not that much alike. But even tough we are not that much alike we still love and care for each other. My brother and I play a lot for sports and our parents come support and cheer for us.

My family is different from other families.I am similer to my family because we all like to read, watch movies and play Wii. I am different because I love animals, scary movies and I am a daredevil. Usually I get along with my parents, and I get along with my sisters. Somtimes get into fights over stupid things, such as who gets the remote when were watching T.V. But most of the time they are fun. My family is unique because we all are smart and funny and we all get along. That is what my family is like.

I think my family and I are both similar and different at the same time. Here are some similarities I have with my family. My mom and I are both hard on ourselves, like to laugh, and are competitive. One difference in my family is that my brother and I don't always get along. Also, I have blue eyes and my brother has hazel eyes.
ReplyDeleteUsually my family and I get along but sometimes we don't. I think that when my brother and I don't get along it is because I am grumpy or mad at someone else. Then I take it out on my brother or visa versa (the other way around).
One of the things that makes my family unique is that my grandma and grandpa live in Seattle. One of my uncles lives at my house. Another uncle lives in all the way in New York City. I have an aunt who lives half way around the world in Tajikistan.

The people in my family are very different from each other. The 3 kids have very different personalities, thoughts, and attitudes. Because of this, we don't always get along. We sometimes argue and disagree, but in the end, we all care for each other. Our family is unique because we can come together as one, at any time, even though we three kids don't always share opinions. And because of this, I believe we are a happy family!

ReplyDeleteI'm similar to my family because... We all like to swim together since we have a big pool in our backyard. We also all like the movie Hot Rod! It is a comedy and we quote it all the time. Last of all we all like to go on family trips. Most of all we like to go to Utah.
ReplyDeleteMy family usually gets along. We sometimes get in fights but we solve the problem and work it out. I have three older sisters and one younger brother. We usually get along without any major problems.
Our famly is unique because... We have 5 kids and most families don't have that many kids. We always have things going on so we aren't at home all together a lot. But our house is always busy with lots of people over.
I love my family and I like being at home with them.

ReplyDeleteI am the same and different from my family in many ways. My family is divided into to two groups, the optimists and the pesimists. My sister and dad are optimists, while my mom and I are pessimists. Living with these weird optimists can be both annoying and helpful. My sister is annoyingly cheery. My dad is like a slightly more happy and hopeful person than the average human being. While I see my mom and myself as normal people.

How is my family alike? My family is different and the same in many ways. I am somewhat similar to my family and other times, I am completely different. Like #1 said, there are optimists and pessimists in my family. My mom and my brother are the pessimists and my dad and I are the positive ones. My dad and I are alike because we like every thing neat. We also like to try new foods and we also love gourmet and French food. My mom and I are alike because we love sweets, shopping and time with the family. My brother and I enjoy listening and playing music, we like to play outside, such as biking or playing tennis, and we LOVE to play video games, but other than that, we have nothing in common.
ReplyDeleteMy family doesn’t always get along. Most of the fights that go around this household is between my brother and I. When we are fighting, each person thinks they’re right. This leads to yelling and screaming. After a few hours, we put in our differences and solve the problem.
My family is unique because we are all different in our own special way. We put in all of our differences and we make a great family. Like last Sunday, my family used teamwork to rake the leaves. I know this sounds like a small task, but the job got finished in 20 minutes. I raked the leaves, my mother put them in the garbage bag, and my brother put the leaves in the yard waste bin. As you can see, my family is somewhat like a well-oiled machine.

Like any family we have our good and bad days but, for the most part we get along well. We are special because whenever someone is sad we try to make the fell better. And if they are not feeling well we take care of them. We support each other in our activities and sports. We are similar because we all enjoy the same things like sports, camping and traveling. We are unique because we enjoying spending time together and most weekends we spend our time together doing activities or supporting each other in our sport activity.
ReplyDeleteAs a family we get along for the most part but there are times when we get frusturated with each other and strat fighting or arguing. At times we tease each other which drives our parents crazy.
I enjoy being with my family and I feel blessed to be a part of such a great family.

In the book Morning Girl, Star Boy and Morning Girl say they are totally opposite. He likes the stars at night and she likes the aloneness in the early morning. Their mom and her brother, Sharp Tooth, thought they would never get along but when they grew up they thought they were more alike. I think that's kind of what my siblings and I think. They can get pretty annoying and I think I'm the total opposite sometimes. I think I'm similar to my family because we all help each other, sometimes tease each other and understand each other. I know that were all different somehow but I think we're more similar to each other. My family and I don't always get along very well because we think different things and then we think we're right or when were having a bad day and when someone talks to that person and then they get angrier and take out all their anger on that person. There's other times when we really want to help everybody and we're so kind and we're all laughing. We're a unique family because we do a lot of different sports

We are just like any normal family. We have our good days and bad days. We argue and fight and then make up.
My family is special because we are surrounded by family, my great grandparents, grandparents,aunts, great aunts, cousins, all live close by. I can't wait until this Thanksgiving because we will have 20 family members in our house. I think that's unique and special.
