  1. I think that he means that if you try to do something you might succeed, but if you do something together you can achieve a lot more. I agree with it because like I said in the other blog the more brains the better. In basketball when I had an open shot I passed because of teamwork.

  2. I think that the quote means that alone, with only talent, you can go far, but only so far; if you add intelligence and teamwork, than you can go much farther. I agree, because, like last week, this quote is telling you to have teamwork, and I feel like that is true. One person has certain talent, and other people have other talents, and if 2 people work together, they get twice the talent. Again, every time we work on a group project, it proves that this quote is true. In conclusion, I agree with Michael Jordan.

  3. I think the quote means that if you have tallent, you are able to do something very well and win some games. But as a team, you'll do a lot better and be able to win more games. I agree with the quote because in basketball, if you are by yourself, you will have no one to pass the ball to, than if you are with a team, you will have someone to pass the ball to. My connection to the quote is when I am playing basketball, I always have someone to pass the ball to than if I am by myself.

  4. Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships." - Michael Jordan.
I think the quote means when you have talent you can win all by yourself but it takes a lot of work, but when you use teamwork and intelligence you can win, have fun, and get it done a whole lot easier. I agree with this quote because two brains are better than one. You can play basketball, tag or other games with more than one person using teamwork and intelligence. For instance when I was playing soccer I had a free lane in front of me to dribble in to, but my teammate was calling for the ball. So I chose to include my teammate by passing to them so they could dribble up instead of me and we scored a goal.

  5. I think it means that when you have talent it can help you win a game but you need everyone's help to go above and beyond. I agree with this quote because I play basketball and when everybody works as a team we can win the game. Whenever I play a team sport we ned everybody to pitch in to help win the game.

  6. I think the quote means that talent is really not as important as working as a team. If someone on your team is not pitching in, it can make all the difference. One person is strong, but a team of people is all powereful! That is why teamwork is so important. I agree with this quote because on my soccer team, when people passed to one another we were unstoppable but when we didn't pass we couldn't win.

  7. Talent is only one part of what it takes to win. It also takes teamwork and intelligent players. I believe Michael Jordan was right because even if you had the most talented players on your team, you would lose if they didn't play as a team. An example is my football team because we all have to play smart. If one person makes a mistake the whole play would be a mistake.#10

  8. I agree with the quote. I think it means if you are talented but do not use your head you may win one game at a time. If you work together with intelligence you can win the whole championship and hopefully win every game too. My sister plays soccer a lot. They work good as a team because they are talented and smart.

  9. What he is trying to say is that talent wins games but if your team uses teamwork, then you and your team are champions for collaborating. It's important if you use teamwork because teamwork is mainly what helps you win and accomplish goals. Especially sports, when you play sports you have to pass the ball to other team mates like in basketball. THAT'S teamwork. I agree with this quote because everyone in their life uses teamwork and so do I. At home after dinner, my family and I help each other by cleaning up the table. We split up the work. My brother wipes the table and I spray the 409 cleaner.

  10. I think that Michael Jordan is trying to say that even with a team talent can wins games. Games are important to win but championships are more important to win and in basketball a team of people is better than one person. You can't do everything on your own and a team really helps. You need intelligence because when a teammate is open by the basket you can pass or if a teammate screens your player you need to use the screen. I agree with this quote because I play on a select basketball team so there are many tournaments and I like to win games but I love getting to be the champions of the tournament more and my team uses teamwork to help us win. One connection I can make with this quote is that when I play any sport (unless its track) I have to use teamwork and when we work together we win or do really well in a game.

  11. I think the quote means that when your alone or on your own team, you can win games because of talent, but in the real thing, you need more than talent, you need teamwork because without other people helping you, you have a less chance of winning whatever you want to win. I agree with the quote beacause when I play basketball I can't shoot a basket if a person is blocking me, so I would have to have another person I can pass to so they can shoot the basket, and when they do, it almost feels like I did it.

  13. I think Michael Jordan is saying that you've got a lot of talent, alone, and you can win 1,2 or 3 games with that talent. But just talent can't win a championship game. People think if you have skill, thats where you win the game. But you really need an intelligent team with different skills and ideas to win the game. I agree with this quote because I think you really do need teamwork to win a game. Just one person can't win a whole championship, you need your teammates support you and help you win. For example, I have been to many of my brother's soccer game. There was one particular player, he was fast and handled the ball extremely well. But he alone couldn't win the game alone, he needed his teammates to pass him the ball and be in the right position to score a goal. The team was scoring high, but the opponents were scoring even higher. At the end, my brother's team lost by 1 point. And even though they didn't win, they had a great time because they used teamwork.

  14. I think that Micheal Jordan is trying to say that if you have a team of players that are all talented and they don't pass to each other and cooperate with each other all their talent will go to waste. A connection I have is I play on a select baseball team and some of the players can get to full of them selves and not licsen to other players advice then they make a bad play. And if that player licsened to the other players advice they would have made a better play.

  15. I think what Michael Jordan is trying to say is that if you have talent you will win. But as team all the people can achieve more. I agree with this quote because people have different talents so if you combine them with a strategy and intelligence you could be the best and play in the best basketball, soccer or other kind of team. I have a connection with the quote because I am in a gymnastic team and when we have a meet I get good scores because we all work together, we help and cheer each other. Last year we were the 2nd place in a championship, all because our team support and our talents. So thats how I agree with this quote.

  16. Micheal Jordan is trying to say that if are talented you can win but if you have a team to surround that talent you can win a championship. I agree with this quote because everyone on a team has strengths and if you use those strengths you can become a very good team together. I play soccer and basketball and those are both team sports. In both of those sports, I have passed the ball to make a better play if another players had the better opportunity to score than I do.

  17. Micheal Jordon is trying to say that you can't do every thing by yourself. For example, at a big buissness, you need a whole lot of people to make the products, but you also need people to sell the products. At my house, we all work together to take care of Tedy. We wouldn't have all the we have without teamwork.

  18. I think he means that alone we can do good but together we can do great! yes because on my basketball team I can do o.k. but with my whole team we are almost unstopable. also with my tabe its hard to do a team task alone but with the help of my team we get the job done. At my last football game we won 32-0 but alon it would be the other way around.

  19. I think it means if you hog the ball and don't pass you will lose the game. I do agree with the quote. because I am a reasever on my football and that is only a small part of the game. With out the blokers, runing backs and the quarter back I would not be able to catch the ball. Or get reverses. I went to the Spartan game the other night and even tough they lost they came back and lost by three points. with out Gake Heeps the quoter back, there blockers and resever's they wouldn't have goten many touch downs.

  20. I think that the quote means that one person can be the star of the team but he needs to have a team with him so if he misses a shot they can get a rebound. I agree with this quote because in war one person can't battle everybody else. He needs support from the Marines, Air Force, Army, Navy. Sometimes having talent isn't enough to be successful. You need more than talent. You need the ability to work with other people. Brett Favre is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the NFL, but his talent alone won't help his team win the Superbowl. He needs to be a team player to win championships.

  21. "Talent wins games, but Teamwork and intellegence wins championships."

    -Micheal Jordan

I think he means that you can just be Talented at somthing like maybe found raising by your self. But if you get a group of Talented found raisers you can raise so much more money because you all used teamwork to make it happen. They all intellegently planned out the fundraiseer and were more sucseessfull because they were very tallented to begin with, and used Teamwork intellegently.

I agree with the quote because to win a soccer game you need to be skilled and Intellegently plan which move would be the best. You also need Teamwork because without it you don't actully have a team to play a game with.

  22. I think it means that together you can do alot but alone you can't do much. I also think it means it takes more than talent. like in Baceball you need more than one player, you can't be the only one covering the feild because you'll never catch the ball.
    i agree with this quote.

  23. I think that Michael Jordan is saying that if you have talent you can win a game but if you have teamwork you can win a game a the time. Yes I agree with the quote because if you have teamwork you can win and you can get a lot done but if you only have talent by yourself then you just win a game. In my soccer team I have about 11 players on my team and when my coach asked me to get things set up for practice but I couldn't do it by myself so my team members including my sister helped me and we got the job done. -Hannah
